Ruby-red with bright tawny hues. Complex, persistent nose, with noticeable aromas of tobacco, vanilla, leather and honey. Smooth and velvety in the mouth, with very complex tannins and sweet notes of ripe skins. This wine is best drunk between 18° and 20°C.

Red meat, large game and roasts. Also ideal with pâtés and cheeses.
